The Ones Who Surprised Themselves

Reader,

Something happens in this training that I never tire of witnessing.

People arrive with a story about who they are and what they are here for, and somewhere in the twelve months ( 10 months of teaching), not in a single breakthrough and not in one dramatic moment, but slowly, through the accumulation of breath and practice and being genuinely held, that story begins to shift.

Not because anyone told them to change it

Because the truth of who they are had more room to breathe.

I want to step back from my own voice today and let you hear from some of the people who have walked this path with me over our previous cohorts. I am sharing because their words carry something mine cannot.

Paminder arrived having been practicing conscious connected breathwork for about a year and a half. She did not feel ready, and she said 'yes' anyway.

"Did I feel ready to start this training? No, I did not. However, I knew in my bones it was a resounding YES.
This 10-month training is so much more than what I was expecting. It is steeped in integrity, ceremony, beautiful and impactful teachings and mentors. This training has been as much of a healing journey for me as it was about becoming an informed facilitator. I am so very grateful that I chose to do this training with Rebecca Llewellyn and Seven Directions Breathwork."

Marya was part of our inaugural North American cohort. What she found inside the container was something she had not known she was looking for.

"This teaching has landed me so heavily in the perfect spot. Like when challenges or pressure or love almost feels too overwhelming — but you don't pull away. If you sit in that, take it all in. That's when greatness is felt. That's what has happened here."

Marya Morrison | Inaugural North American Cohort

Leonora came to find herself more fully. What she discovered was a beautiful personal journey and community on the path of learning Breath, while learning from embodied experts for her growth.

And Timmie, who found our training profound and aligned with the sacred path that she already walks.

Check out some of our other beautiful North American grads and what they have to say!

These are not extraordinary people who had access to something others do not; they simply made the courageous decision to remember who they are and devote themselves to the path.

They are people who felt called, said yes, and showed up. Month after month, they showed up to the breath, to the work, to themselves.

Some came knowing they wanted to facilitate and that was clear from the start. Some came for their own healing with no plan beyond that. And some genuinely arrived not knowing why they were there at all; only that something in them would not stop pointing in this direction and I am so glad that they did.

All of them are changed.

Not into someone else but into more of who they already were.

We currently have 2 months left of our current training before our current students step into their graduating practicum, and I cannot wait to share our new graduates - but look at our beautiful student reflecting on our class on voice and embodiment on my IG post the other day. This is how they are moving in the world!

If something in you has been pointing in this direction, I would like to hear from you. Make sure to check out all the details and curriculum I have laid out on my website, and if that niggle is still in your bones, let's book a call through the button below and I can answer your questions and have you register to join our next cohort, which begins in November 2026!

Reader, Before I became a breathwork trainer and stepped in as a medicine woman, I spent fifteen years in fundraising and development. I raised funds for organizations whose work centred on financial support and education. And in that time, I witnessed something that has never left me. A small gift, given at the right moment, can change the entire trajectory of a person's life. Not a grand gesture or a life-changing sum. Sometimes something modest like a bursary, a scholarship, a single...

Reader I literally just completed my Tobacco Dieta on the 29th. I have been walking with Tobacco formally since 2021. Tobacco has changed my life in so many ways. Tobacco continues to support me with clarity, cutting bullshit from my life, deepening my connection with the earth and all the allies, and grounding through all the realms. And as a result - protection and sacred boundaries even more so. This one was not easy and a big ooff lol and a forced surrender. That post-dieta glow! I am...

Reader, You love breathwork. Maybe you have for a while now or maybe it came into your life and quietly rearranged something in you that you are still integrating. Or did you find yourself talking about it to people who didn't ask? Maybe you notice what happens in a session and think.... not always, but sometimes, I wonder what it would feel like to hold this for someone else? hmmmm ...And then the thought passes, and you hear a voice... Because who are you to do this? You are not a therapist...
